Is my installation guaranteed?

Yes. We offer a 10-year Insurance Backed Guarantee on every installation.

What if my Conservatory Roof Leaks?

Our materials are waterproof so they can't be damaged by water. If your roof springs a leak then the water will show itself at the lowest part of the ceiling. The most common causes of leaks are:
  1. Driving rain over the ridge which can happen occasionally due to strong wind & rain.
  2. Slipped panels creating a gap at the top. (These panels can be shunted up externally if it happens).

Can I get condensation in my Conservatory?

Our bespoke conservatory ceilings help regulate the room temperature, which in turn helps to reduce room condensation.

Does my New Conservatory Ceiling require Building Regulations?

No. All of our work is internal with no alteration to the external roof structure, so building regs are not required.

What about Conservatory Ceiling Lights?

DB Space offers spotlights that are custom-fitted in the ridge of any vaulted ceiling to replace an existing light. If there is no existing power supply we/you would need to arrange for an electrician to install this so we can connect the lights. We can also install spotlights to lean to ceilings but in most cases there isn't an existing light  (usually a wall light), so here again you would need to arrange for an electrician to carry out this work.

How do I clean a Conservatory Ceiling?

You can use a feather duster occasionally or warm soapy water where necessary.

How long does it take to install a new Insulated Conservatory Ceiling?

Usually it's no more than a 1-day install (with the exception of large glass roofs and P-shapes that normally take 2 days).

Do you offer finance for Insulated Conservatory Ceilings?

Yes, we have partnered with Ideal4Finance so that you can spread the cost of your ceiling.

How long is my new Insulated Conservatory Ceiling Guaranteed for?

We offer a 5-year guarantee on all of our insulated conservatory ceilings.

Does the room need to be empty on the fitting day?

Yes, we do require the room to be as empty as possible on the day of fitting. If there are any items you cannot move, then we will endeavour to do this on the day of fitting. *please note - we cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur from this*.

Do you fit / re-fit the blinds?

If there is more than 80mm between the bottom of the roof spars and the top of the blinds then there would not be any issue with the blinds. If not then we may be able to fit the blinds lower down once the ceiling is installed. If they are Venetian blinds, then please be aware we need the room between the bottom of the blinds and the window sill to do this.

What if our Conservatory Roof has leaked in the past?

If it does not leak every time it rains then it may be be due to driving rain which is a common problem with conservatory roofs.

What if we have an opening roof vent?

If it's a polycarbonate conservatory roof, then it's best to cover this with the insulated ceiling as it would be prone to condensation and heat loss. With a glass roof you have the option to keep this exposed.

Do you need access to the rear of the property?

Yes, we cut all of the materials required for your Insulated Conservatory Roof outside on a bench with a tarpaulin underneath to keep your garden clean and tidy. If we need to access your conservatory through the house, then we will do our upmost to prevent any damage to the walls etc.

We have an old conservatory roof is that ok?

As long as your conservatory roof is structurally sound with no leaks, then there would be no problem installing an insulated conservatory ceiling.

Can you insulate a conservatory side wall?

Yes, we can install insulation and paneling to a side wall to offer more privacy and extra comfort.

Do you replace window boards?

Yes, we can fit upvc window boards at a cost of £30 per linear meter

Do you offer solid roof replacements?

Yes, we have partnered with LEKA Systems which provide market leading roof replacements with u-values as low 0.12.

How soon can I book in for our new Insulated Conservatory Ceiling?

We usually aim to keep our lead times as short as 4 weeks, but this can be longer during winter & summer months.
